MyMedicare is a new program which started on 1 October 2023 as part of an ongoing commitment by the Government to strengthening Medicare for all Australians. It strengthens the relationship between you as a patient and your clinic, your doctor and your care team for better support, easier access to telehealth consultations and a range of other benefits.

Enrolling or registering for the MyMedicare program is voluntary. we highly recommend it to everybody because MyMedicare patients will have following benefits.

• Greater continuity of care with your registered practice, improving health outcomes.
• Longer Medicare Benefit Scheme (MBS) funded telehealth consultations with your GP.
• Connections to more appropriate care in general practice for people who visit hospital frequently, from mid-2024.

Our doctors are already enrolled in MyMedicare, and it is recommended that you register and enjoy the benefits.

Register online here or in-person at Medical Centre as long as you have a Medicare or Department of Veterans’ Affairs (DVA) card.
